Cnc Machinist and Fabricator - (St Petersburg, FL)

Position: CNC MACHINIST AND / OR FABRICATOR Shift: first shift 7A- 3:30P with OverTime 6:00A-5:30P Pay: $18/hr + depending on experience. SUMMARY: Produces machined parts, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control ( CNC) machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Operates mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool reisters, offsets, compensation and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. Program parts using cad/cam software -Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four- jaw chucks, tools, attachments 3 and four jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers, indicating vices, tramming heads.
