National Medical Lab is seeking a Medical Technician. Associate or Bachelor Degree required. Medical lab technician Position details: Under supervision, Medical Tech will performs entry level clinical tests and prep specimens. The Medical lab Technician Must be able to work with laboratory instrumentation, quality control and quality assurance Lab Technicians will recognizes problems, initiate troubleshooting steps to evaluate testing failures, and notifies the Supervisor or Trainer, for additional assistance or support, if required. Uses solutions, reagents, filtration, centrifuging, slides preparation and/or staining techniques to prepare specimens/samples for laboratory delivery, examination, screens, and/or testing. Under supervision, interprets test results , and assures test results are accurate and/or acceptable. Follows established company and department policies and procedures.A Follow the guidelines for safety, environmental, and infection control.
