Executive: Director of QA - Jamaica, New York - (Jamaica, NY)

Job DescriptionThe Director of QA will ensure correct implementation, monitoring and maintenance of regulatory qualifications established by the Safe Quality Food Institute, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP), Hazard Analysis Risk Based Preventative Controls (HAACP) for the facility and related operations to ensure all products meet expected quality and safety standards. Responsibilities:Develops/trains facility employees in quality awareness and food safety processes and qualifications such as GMP, HACCP, Allergen, and Training Oversees raw material quality program to ensure vendor conformance to internal standards. Responsible to conduct pre and post inspections and audit programs to meet qualifications of the ingredient specification program, proper labeling, code date adherence, verification & validation and all sanitary standards are maintained throughout the facility.
