Job DescriptionThe Safety Instructor will work with every level of employee to help build and maintain a world class safety program within our organization. The main focus of this position is to drive Safety engagement with our employees by creating safety training classes relative to our business, facilitating classes, creating and hosting webinars and following up on safety training / implementation with direct store visits. The Safety Instructor will lead meetings and training classes primarily for Yancey Bros. Co. employees as well as occasional external customers and may assist in special projects – related to improving the Safety culture of Yancey Bros. Co. Additional responsibilities of this position will be to work with the Safety team and management of Yancey Bros. Co. to insure Yancey’s compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOT & EPA qualifications, and other safety related topics monitored and adapted for training topic additions or changes to current training curriculums.
