LPN Medical Records/ QA - (Riverside, MO)

LPN Medical Records/ QA- Full-time this position will be split between Medical Records and Quality. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services, the Quality Assurance Nurse serves as support person within the Facility, providing guidance and education; assisting the Facility in issue solving related to resident care; monitoring compliance with state and federal regulations. Essential Duties 1. Provides directive and supportive consultation to Facility nursing staff. 2. Works with Director of Nursing Services to coordinate training. Educates and monitors activities. 3. Works with Facility for issue solving when needs arise in areas such as: a. Monitoring resident care delivery systems b. Reviewing CNA duties c. Recommending medication delivery systems and ordering schedules d. Teaching restraint reduction programs e. Training on use of forms and systems f. Performing chart reviews g. Checking physician orders as needed h. Monitoring implementation of 7 Standards of Care
