Clerk/Processor - Mortgage Loans - (Valparaiso, IN)

Summary Process 1st mortgage loan applications, including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and Construction Loans. Duties Responsible for all aspects of mortgage processing, including but not limited to: • Maintain loan pipeline; keep track of all loans currently in process to ensure progresses are made in a timely fashion. • Ordering of appraisals, title commitments, tax transcripts, verifications (employment, deposits, mortgages, rent, etc.) • Run AUS periodically to ensure loans continue to receive favorable results once the documents are turned in for review. • Ensure loan files are documented in a timely fashion and submitted to underwriting for final review. • Communicate with customers to request various types of documents such as pay stubs, tax returns, asset statements, etc. • Periodic communication with customers as to the progress of their loan is a must. Requirements • Min 2-three years mortgage loan processing/customer service background
