Engineer (Supplier) - Automotive Job summary: Reporting to site managers the Engineer is responsible for coordinating suppliers and verifying quality standards in accordance with the requirements of their organization. You will actively participate in strategic development based on quality control plans. You will manage the supply chain, serve as liaison for suppliers, suggest quality and process improvements, and collaborate with other engineers in a team environment. Additionally, you will discover gaps in a process with suppliers and implement root cause and corrective actions. You will increase quality reliability, use skills to do high-level issue solving. More principal tasks will be to maintain accurate records, conduct capability assessments that validate and verify supplier requirements, travel to assigned suppliers as required, and lead multiple projects to completion. You must manage process controls. In addition, you will measure readiness throughout the product development cycle.
