Youth Soccer Instructor/Coach - (Charlottesville, VA)

POSITION DETAILS: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. This position will lead the YMCAs Youth Soccer Clinics under the direction of the Sports Program Director. The Youth Soccer Instructor will be responsible for implementing the lesson plans and providing supervision to sports program participants. They will assist in planning and implementing high quality and developmentally appropriate soccer programs for youth ages 3-6 and their families. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS: Leads soccer program by conducting a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate program, as directed by the supervisor, to accomplish the YMCA mission and goals. Builds effective relationships with participants and their parents. Sets up field and player equipment on time and in a safe, effective mannor. Trains YMCA volunteers to assist with the soccer clinics.
