Production Manager, Packaging - (New York, NY)

Overview: Manage, produce and oversee the packaging production process, including finalizing the pre-press production and digital packaging mechanicals process for Macy's Merchandising private brands. Responsibilities: Manage and develop team of Production Artists. Guide projects through the production process by overseeing projects from Merchant turn-in phase through the mechanical release phase, while remaining on budget and on schedule. Review and assign projects to Production Team and maintain accurate project status reports. Partner with Traffic Department to ensure deadlines are met. Participate in Creative/Production development and turn-in meetings. Manage production timeline and project accountability process. Approve and release all digital mechanicals to ensure that each job meets workplace standards. Assign projects to appropriate Production Artists based upon ability and current work volume, including managing own projects.
