Warehouse Team Leader - (Marshall, IL)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for warehouse functions to include stocking materials, general supervision, inventory control, and other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Extensive use of many SAP screens to control movement and accuracy of material throughout the facility. Monitor Backlog System - ensuring the accuracy of the backlog tracking, correct errors. Monitor Replenishment System- ensuring the accuracy of transactions in and out of warehouse. Ensure timely delivery to manufacturing. Assign run routes and picker roles to associates. Interact with manufacturing to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly. Assist management with implementation of new processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Responsible for ensuring adequate coverage (vacations, overtime etc). Responsible for new associate training, cross training, rotations, etc. Responsible for assigning and tracking 5S activities as well as perform audits with management. Complete Back to Basic board.
