Warehouse Supervisor - Day - (Jackson, MS)

SPECIFIC DUTIES: Insure that all merchandise is received in proper order and placed in inventory in an orderly manner. Coordinate with receiving clerk to get all merchandise slotted and rotated when being placed in inventory. Maintain picking and reserve slotting system. Make sure that all hourly personnel are productive, reducing overtime whenever possible. Conduct a regularly scheduled sanitation program for both the freezer and dry storage. Make certain that all broken cases are disposed of in the most profitable manner possible to the Company. Make certain all invoices; commercial sales as well as commodity distributions are scheduled for delivery on a timely and acceptable basis. At all times be in a position to communicate to our sales people as well as customers as to any problems that might arise concerning deliveries. Design a work schedule for all warehouse employees including night personnel.
