RN - Cardiac Rehab, Exercise Specialist - (Fairbury, NE)

The Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation exercise specialist is responsible to assist in the planning and direction of the Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation program. The exercise specialist demonstrates behaviors consistent with organizational mission, vision, core competencies and strategic goals. Hours: Part-time, one day per week (4-8 hours between eight a.m. - four p.m.) and filling in for vacation/days off. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilizes the nursing process, for the performance of patient care, to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to achieve prioritized patient outcomes. Performs and maintains documentation. Communicates effectively. Promotes and ensures patient safety in performance of all responsibilities. Administers medications, treatments and procedures in a timely and safe manner according to physician orders. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality of records and info.
