Job DescriptionPosition Overview:This position provides leadership for Proto Labs’ CNC Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure we achieve business results.Specific duties include: Responsible for the leading the CNC Manufacturing Engineering department team. Responsible for the on-going coaching and development of employees. Hire and manage, a skilled staff and develop working atmosphere to meet objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistency in approach and execution of performance improvements. Monitors day-to-day activities of the technical staff and provides guidance on methods and priorities. Collaborate with other leaders to develop and align departmental objectives which drive results and enable Proto Labs to achieve its objectives. Deploy staff as appropriate to ensure projects are complete on time. Monitors projects from initiation through completion to ensure the end result satisfies established goals.
