Job DescriptionSecurity Guard Job SummaryTop-tier K-8 NYC Independent School seeks an experienced, reliable, and flexible security guard. The work schedule is full-time, with some overtime hours available and expected. The guard will enforce school rules and security protocol; ensure the security of students, staff, parents and visitors; and prevent damage to school facilities and property. The Guard will also establish a strong rapport with students and staff to provide an atmosphere that is safe, secure, welcoming, and conducive to the proper functioning of the school. The guard will provide necessary assistance to all students, parents, staff, and visitors by either resolving problems or referring them to the appropriate person for assistance.
