Engineering: Senior IT Network Engineer - Phoenix, Arizona - (Phoenix, AZ)

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under minimal supervision, this position provides primary support for the data and voice communications network. Reviews and evaluates the design, installation and implementation of upgrades to LAN/WAN configurations. Performs advanced problem resolution for network hardware and services. Monitors network performance levels and ensures network availability. Develops and establishes operating standards and procedures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management. Assures quality customer service to all customers. Evaluates recommendations concerning hardware/software upgrades and provides guidance to managers for strategic planning purposes. Researches, analyzes, and designs complex LAN/WAN systems, including writing specifications, preparing documentation and performing implementations. Plans, organizes, schedules and tracks activities to meet established deadlines.
