Senior Internal Investigation Engineer, Warren, MI, General Motors. Lead team of Systems Management Team Engineers & external supplier engrs, define work tasks, & assure timely investigations of potential safety issues affecting whole vehicle, propulsion systems, & any vehicle sub-systems, leading multifunctional team to dvlp a detailed understanding of complex issues, & potentially to reverse engr component & subsystem, to support Executive Committee resulting in potential field action, Prevent Repeat Incidences of Defects (PRID) or Learning Advisory. Dvlp product investigations based on Global Safety Field Investigation process & workflow using GSV-Core (Global Vehicle Safety Case Observation Review and Evaluation). Consolidate issue condition presented on SUFS (Speak Up For Safety) & create work team integrating area experts as required for issue investigated. Identify existence of litigation &/or liabilities related to potential safety issue under investigation using Global Legal Litigation Hold website.
