Industrial Sewer - (Bessemer City, NC)

Randstad is looking for someone with Background in textiles and operating industrial sewing machines. This temporary to permanent opportunity involves operating up to four different kinds of sewing machines and other hand tools. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following critical functions. (These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.) Individual will sew hems into shades as required by customer, perform inspection of all fabrics, review of production labels to ensure that individual components meet customer requirement. Will be responsible for performing accurate linear measurements, identification of shades and associated components by order number and basic housekeeping. Serves as a backup for other sewing machine operators as required. Will adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Individual will be responsible for other duties as assigned.
