APRN/PA: 1-PT, 30-40 hrs/wk; Hospital coverage Hematology Oncology department. The applicant must be a certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant. Provide quality, advanced professional care to achieve and maintain optimal health, following established standards and practices. Incumbent will be responsible for assisting oncologists with follow up visits, consult assessments, and managing current patients as directed by the attending physician. The applicant should have knowledge of psychological needs, clinical assessment implications, and consequences of treatment recommendations. The position will also be responsible for coordinating care planning with other disciplines. Candidates must be able to work on Monday through Friday (no weekends, no call). 3-4) 10 hour shifts.
