ASSISTANT GENERAL RESTAURANT MANAGER PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITY: Responsible for assisting in the management of operation of a restaurant, ensuring quality standards, service standards, financial performance and people development are achieved while observing the highest legal and ethical standards. KEY FUNCTIONS: # Supervises dining area to ensure the greeting of each guest, highest quality of service and unbeatable guest satisfaction. # Supervises and directs operations during a specified shift, ensuring food quality and crew performance meets standards. # Manages food and labor costs, setting par levels, staffing levels and making adjustments as necessary. # Trains or monitors the training of crew members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure a positive and successful training experience consistent with HR policy. # Constantly inspects the restaurant for cleanliness, food quality, service delivery and safety procedures.
