Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Planner/Buyer position is a key role within our strategic plan for Supply Chain management. Key objectives will be achieving, improving, exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the supply chain. Planner/Buyer will plan, release and manage production work orders and purchase orders for production plants. The qualified individual will be responsible for providing the plant with a master monthly production plan consistent with the plant capacity and sales demand. The sales forecasts, new business opportunities, customer expectations, and internal supply constraints will be used to develop production plans, by month, for a min rolling 3 mnth period. Key functions/Major Responsibilities: Plan, purchase, schedule, and track the build of products through production utilizing ERP system. Insure execution of production plans on a weekly and monthly basis.
