Engineer - Research Engineer - Fluids & Machinery Engineering - (San Antonio, TX)

Position summary: Performs testing, analytical, or computational analysis in fluids engineering research. Provides engineering support in the specific areas of fluid flow, gas/liquid separation, flow measurement, multiphase flow, erosion, and flow assurance research and testing. Candidate must be able to: work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving work atmosphere, work on projects of different scope, act in various roles simultaneously (e.g. engineering support, project manager, facility coordinator). Candidate must also possess issue solving abilities, must be able to listen and analyze project qualifications, develop engineering approaches to solving problems, and prepare cost estimates and proposals for performing the work.
