Weekend Nursing Supervisor The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of all patient care services during his/her assigned weekend shift. The Nursing Supervisors ensure nursing practice is according to the Ohio Board of Nursing rules and regulations. In the absence of the Hospital Administrator and/or designee, the Nursing Supervisor has the responsibility and authority for appropriate administrative decision and for notifying the Administrator-on-Call.1.Education and Training Graduate of an accredited institution of nursing and current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio. BSN required. BLS/ACLS required. Certification in Nursing Administration preferred. 2.Background Three Years related professional nursing background including 1 to 3 years progressive leadership background.
