Job DescriptionRummel Construction, Inc. a general contractor is currently seeking Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics. This is a safety sensitive position that will require operating a Mechanic truck on-site and may drive between jobsites. Must have the expertise to lift, load/unload parts and materials, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and perform repairs on CAT earthmoving and related equipment. Communication with Operations, Purchasing Agents, and other teammates regarding maintenance activities is required. Must be able to perform all duties/responsibilities within applicable OSHA and other regulations, company policy, and exercises ordinary care expected of a professional Heavy Equipment Mechanic.Basic qualifications: three years previous background as a mechanic trouble shooting and repairing CAT Equipment. Must be 18 yrs of age and have your own tools, an acceptable driving history, and must be able to pass DOT Medical Clearance.Rummel Construction, Inc.
