Vocal HS Teacher with Possible Co-Teaching seventh & eighth GradeEmmetsburg High-school has both a JV (Black & Gold) and a Varsity (High Voltage) Show Choir group. EHS has an outstanding record in Show Choir touting many top placing rankings. Just some of the 2016 Notables include Best Choreography and second place overall at the Dutch Masters Invitational (first in 2015), Class 2A Iowa Vocal Jazz-second Place, Dallas Center-Grimes "Take 2" Invitational-2ndPlace, Saturday Night Jive Invitational-third Runner Up. Vocal students have most recently traveled to Disney World, New York City and Nashville, TN. Students take pride in the program with approx 75 musicians participating. The program also shares support with a very active and involved booster club that sponsors the annual "Extravaganza", hosting 30 schools.The Emmetsburg Community School District is in the heart of Palo Alto County, Northwest Iowa.
