Nursing Instructor - (Iowa City, IA)

Beginning Date: Immediately Reports To: Division Chair of Nursing About the Position: Teach Nursing and related courses. Other duties include, but are not limited to, classroom management, teaching laboratory sessions, curriculum development/restructuring, committee assignments, student academic advising, student recruitment and responsibility for materials and supplies. All applicants interviewed will be required to provide a teaching demonstration. Min Requirements: Master of Science degree in Nursing. eighteen graduate hours in nursing Current licensure in Iowa for Registered Nursing. Recent work background in clinical nursing. Excellent oral and written correspondence and human relations skills. Effective management skills, particularly as they relate to the teaching-learning process. Proven skill in student learning and teaching excellence. Desirable Requirements: An understanding of the community college philosophy and the community college student.
