21st CCLC Teacher - (Washington, PA)

Supervises and instructs students in educational and recreational activities as part of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant. Requirements Education: Bachelors Degree in Education or related position or a Teacher certification as required by the State of Washington (OSPI) together with the appropriate corresponding education necessary to obtain certification required. Background: At least 2 yrs background working with students in a classroom setting. Licenses/Certificates/Registration: A current copy of a FBI background investigation (fingerprinting) if applicable. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Multi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; expertise to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of student learning objectives; expertise to develop and implement effective lesson plans; expertise to design and implement positive discipline; expertise to maintain classroom management; and the expertise to organize student activities.
