21st CCLC Teacher Assistant - (Washington, PA)

Assists teachers to instruct students in classroom educational and recreational activities. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High-school diploma or GED. Bachelors Degree in related position preferred. Background: At least 2 yrs background working with students in a classroom setting. Licenses/Certificates/Registration: A current copy of a FBI background investigation (fingerprinting) if applicable. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; expertise to communicate effectively in English; expertise to assist with student learning objectives; expertise to assist in implementing effective lesson plans; expertise to assist implementing positive discipline and classroom management; and the expertise to organize student activities.
