Software Engineer - (Indiana, PA)

Responsibilities: Provides ability inprogramming and design tools necessary to create or extend softwaresolutions in support of the Institutes ERP (Enterprise ResourcePlanning) system which is Ellucian Banner; requires functionalunderstanding of relational database software, middleware, systemsoftware, integrated development environments, and other technicalcomponents essential to provide stable, enterprise computingsolutions. Education/Background: Bachelors degree in anappropriate discipline, or any degree and equivalent experiencerequired; 5 yrs of background including database programmingin a diverse computing environment preferred. Required Technical Requirements andAttributes: Ability to work with users todefine, implement, review, and validate complex functionalsolutions; proficiency using common server operating systems(UNIX/Windows); SQL; knowledge of object oriented design conceptsand SaaS and Web Service architecture; desire to grow viaprofessional development; desire to mentor colleagues andusers.
