Digital Media Editor - (Manhattan, NY)

DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Digital Media Editor to manage digital content distribution through social media and email marketing for a brand new high-caliber publication to be launched. You will be working closely with editors to frame and optimize content for social platform and other electronic distribution channels. The goal is to gradually build an engaged social community of influencers in the field of international affairs, maintain a healthy database of subscribers and build web traffic. RESPONSIBILITIES Build and execute a social media and marketing strategy to reach and engage the target audience on all platforms, particularly Twitter Identify key social media influencers and journalists in the field of international affairs, engage and build relationships to maximize exposure and impact of the editorial content.
