Job DescriptionABOUT THE POSITION:Packs produce into boxes according to sets of instructions for shipment to consumers.ESENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately completes all types of boxes and then cleans the packing area as needed. Examines quality condition of product for suitability for packing. Weighs, measures, or otherwise prepares product for packing. Palletizes finished product. Identifies appropriate products. Operates conveyor and scans boxes into system. Achieves understanding of and ensures compliance with the broad qualifications of the Food Safety Program. (Applies to Food Safety CeFrtified Sites) Demonstrates comprehension of food safety qualifications for their person and their work area (Applies to Food Safety Certified Sites) Expertise to get along and work efficiently with others. Regular, predictable attendance is required. Fills each station with its assigned produce and or supplies. Applies appropriate labeling to boxes and product as needed.
