The University of Iowa, College of Dentistry is searching for a part time (50%) Research Assistant. To provide research assistance for a biomaterials laboratory that is focused on the characterization and development of dental biomaterials for the repair, restoration and regeneration of dental tissues.REQUIRES:Bachelors degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, chemical/biochemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or equivalent; or an equivalent combination of relevant education background.Typically 6 months of relevant background in the conduct of laboratory research, including the following skill sets:Research - Working Background: Knowledge of formal methodologies, tools and techniques for conducting biomedical/bioengineering research
