Job DescriptionArchitect - Senior The Architect is a fully competent architect in all conventional aspects of architecture with a specific emphasis of mission critical facilities. It performs work requiring independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. It independently solves problems encountered and performs architectural assignments under general supervision. They select and determine procedures in architectural matters and write reports and specifications. The person in this position reviews completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations. They prepare and/or supervise preparation of architectural plans and renderings, consult manufacturers, evaluate and select materials, and inspect architectural features of structures in the field. The Project Architect independently performs most assignments with instruction concerning general results expected.
