Job DescriptionOur Client company is looking for a Design Engineer with 10+ years background in medical device manjufacturing and design. Design for Manufacturing ability and proven work history in the medical device industry Preferred applicants will have an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent scientific discipline Min of ten or more years applicable progressively complex mechanical engineering design background Advanced proficiency with CAD software (Pro/Engineer preferred) Significant background in the design of high volume thermoplastic/thermoplastic elastomer injection molded disposables for manufacture, test, cost, and reliability in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry required Familiarity with design transfer, through to multi-cavity tooling validation Quantitative mechanical analyses, including tolerance and stress analyses Benchtop prototype development Incumbents should possess knowledge of advanced theories, concepts, principles
