Maintenance Tech II-Frisco, TX - (Plano, TX)

Job DescriptionOverview: The purpose of this position is to provide professional and technical maintenance of various appurtenances associated with roadways, bridges, pavement markings, drainage systems, as well as, other activities associated with improving the appearance, safety, and condition of the system. This is accomplished by driving and operating various vehicles and equipment, large trucks, tractors, forklifts, sweepers, snow and ice equipment and providing traffic control on the system. This position will be required to implement traffic control plans. Other duties including making repairs and assisting others with inspections and preventative maintenance, as well as, responding to emergencies, responding to weather-related emergencies, and completing special projects as assigned. Responsibilities: Assist with the removal, replacement, repair, and installation of guard rail, attenuators, fences, pavement, median barrier, bridge rail, and other appurtenances.
