Receiving Associate - (Ferndale, MI)

Job DescriptionWe are seeking and individual to assist in processing all inbound loads to the receiving area which includes staging, sorting, and stocking, merchandise.Essential Job Functions: Accurately posts receipts to the Inventory Control Module. Inspects merchandise received for quality assurance or damage. Processes non-conformance items and communicates with Purchasing regarding incomplete purchase orders, damaged goods, etc. Puts away all merchandise accurately.· Ensures proper labeling practices are observed for products, locations and aisles, to facilitate put-away and accurate order fulfillment. Other Job Functions: Properly tags all non-stock/special order items. Stage merchandise for repacking or relabeling. Initiate PO for required action carefully verifying product number and quantities. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Performs all task with in MIOSHA safety regulations.Key skills/Requirements: High-school diploma or GED. two year of receiving background.
