Wellness Associate-PT Job - (West Chester, PA)

The Oscar Lasko YMCA and Childcare Center is looking for an enthusiastic, fitness-focused Fitness Center Attendants to help engage our members in healthy living and help strengthen the foundations of our community. This is a part-time position with a work schedule that includes days, nights and weekends. Qualifications: Background and knowledge in fitness principles and applications as related to exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills Good judgement, expertise to problem solve, expertise to relate well with staff and general public YMCA fitness certifications or equivalent Responsibilities: Assist members with all fitness center equipment Implement fitness screening, fitness testing and sports conditioning programs for both youth and adults Consult new members with the Y's Getting Started program Implement fitness incentive programs Benefits: Fun
