Quality Control Group Leader - (Grand Rapids, MI)

SUMMARY: Responsible for daily leadership of the Quality Control group activities and personel.-- Including coordinating, organizing, and completing highly complex activities for the development, implementation, and maintenance of activities related to raw material or finished product testing. Relies on extensive background and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.-- Demonstrates organizational, problem-solving, and teambuilding skills. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Lead Quality Control group through coordination of daily activities and personnel through scheduling, prioritization, and reviewing data and details. Lead Quality Control staff through training, supervising, performance management, and staff development. Define and implement corporate quality objectives and translate these objectives into procedures and methods for use in the Quality System.
