Lead Instructional Designer (Quality Matters Certified) - (Jackson, MS)

This leadership position will provide direction, guidance, facilitation and execution of academic technology services. Candidates who are qualified must have extensive background in planning, developing, implementing, and managing technology-based learning within the higher education industry. The applicant must have a solid understanding of best practices in blended and on-line education including learning theory, curriculum management, delivery models, technology tools, infrastructure, quality control, marketing, governance, metrics and business planning. The Lead Instructional Designer will manage academic professionals located on the DSU campus who are focused on delivering systems and services designed to build or enhance technology-enhanced or fully on-line learning initiatives; and will manage Academic Technology Services at Delta State University.
