Lead Architect - (Cary, NC)

Job Location: United States : North Carolina : Cary MetLife is seeking an IT Lead Architect to join its centralized Enterprise Architecture team focused on delivering strategic architectural solutions that enable MetLife to meet its business goals. This Lead Architect will collaborate closely with the Director of Data Architecture and will be responsible for delivering conceptual and solution architecture designs across the Global Analytics and Data Services portfolio. The architect will primarily be focused on database, data quality, Big Data, and analytics platforms, supporting multiple global tenants. In this role, the architect will be responsible for the architecture of a cutting-edge Big Data platform, based on Hadoop, Hortonworks, and advanced analytics tooling. The architect will also be involved with defining data platform architectures using cloud-based container infrastructure.
