Construction Manager Job - (Boston, MA)

GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Reports to the Sr. Construction Manager - Responsibilities encompass coordinating and expediting renovation and construction projects involving outside contractors, consultants and internal personnel to insure proper workmanship, compliance with plans and specifications, and completion of projects on schedule; supervising support work by personnel; and assisting Project Managers in estimating and value engineering cost of projects. Works closely with Project Managers, Architects, Designers, Engineers and Contractors to eliminate or minimize problems regarding changes, materials, methods, costs, delays and priorities. Assures compliance with regulatory agencies. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Represents MGH concerning various aspects of construction projects.
