OverviewSeneca Family of Agencies is seeking full time an Academic Intervention Specialist (Special Education Teacher). It is our goal to provide an enriching and successful environment where students' strengths are celebrated and their needs addressed with a variety of targeted interventions. Our school-based services are highly individualized for each student, and parents and other family members are enlisted as partners in designing and implementing the education and treatment plans for their child. The Academic Intervention Specialist provides intensive academic instruction to students both in their classroom settings and in the learning lab. Additionally, the Academic Intervention Specialist coordinates services at the school site and supports colleagues in supporting students successfully in diverse settings by providing teacher coaching, modeling and development opportunities.
