Job DescriptionBasic Role - As a stockroom worker you would be responsible for receive materials into the stockroom, issue it to the production, compile stock reports and perform inventory transactions on the materials kept in stock. Also, ensure that quantities in the inventory database are accurate and that orders received into the company are accurate.Job overview - As a stock workers you will be required to receive materials into the stockroom through receiving transactions. Verify the quantity of parts or products that arrive and the time of arrival. Enter this details into the inventory database, including the part numbers and the location of the items in the stockroom. When requested, issue materials to production. This may include a transaction out of the stockroom to the production floor.
