Equipment Assembler - (Roanoke, VA)

Role and Responsibilities Assist in assembling of a wide variety of heavy equipment Use hand tools and machines to assemble parts and run hoses Communicate any issues that arise with supervisors Conduct quality checks on products Maintain a 5S work atmosphere Perform other tasks as directed by supervision Abide by all safety policies and procedures Complete installation of rail gear and hydraulic plumbing Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be able to troubleshoot problems Applicant must work well with others Must be mechanically inclined Requires strong attention to detail in department processes and procedures Knowledge of wiring and hydraulics are required Expertise to work either one st or 2 nd shift and overtime as necessary Must be able to interpret engineering drawings Requires the expertise to comprehend and follow written work instructions Required Min Requirements Must be at least eighteen years of age
