Insurance Verification Representative Job - (Carmel, IN)

Surgical Care Affiliates is currently looking for an Insurance Verification Representative for our Carmel, IN location. Within SCA, our revenue cycle team members play a unique role. They connect with our patients, their insurers or bill payers and our physicians. In a rapidly growing market, the efficiency of this team directly affects our mission to care for our patients, serve our physicians, and improve healthcare in America. The Insurance Verification Teammate is responsible for all appropriate verification of insurance and follow-up necessary to obtain full reimbursement and payment from patients and 3rd party payers. Contact patients that owe coinsurance/co-pays/and/or deductibles 5 days prior to surgery. Make sure ALL surgeries that require pre-authorization are confirmed with Insurance companies and documented accordingly in the patient accounting system.
