Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) is recruiting a Research Assistant (RA) to join the SRH Neurorehabilitation Laboratory. The mission of the SRH Neurorehabilitation Laboratory, directed by Dr. Joseph T. Giacino, is to advance the development of effective methods of assessment and treatment for persons who sustain severe acquired brain injury and disorders of consciousness (DoC). The lab's primary research aims are centered on improving the accuracy and efficiency of clinical outcome assessment and testing the effectiveness of neuromodulatory interventions targeting patients with DoC. The SRH Neurorehabilitation Lab serves as the national Outcomes Core for the NIH-funded Transforming Research and Clinical Knowledge in Traumatic Brain Injury (TRACK-TBI) initiative and is the base of operations for the Spaulding-Harvard Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model System (Project Director: Joseph T. Giacino, PhD), 1 of 16 centers in the U.S.
