Summary Statement Monitors and maintains the overall physical security of City of Boise facilities, personnel, and visitors. Assesses building risks and makes recommendations for improvements. Responds to and coordinates emergency and security related events. Work is performed independently and requires considerable professional judgment in carrying out objectives and is under general supervision. Required functions Performs security risk assessments for existing structures. Accountable for day-to-day maintenance and repair of existing security system infrastructure. Troubleshoots reported hardware issues and coordinates with appropriate contractors for repairs. Evaluates need and makes recommendations for service calls on security equipment and hardware.
