Radiochemistry Research Fellow Job - (Boston, MA)

Radiochemistry Research Fellow The Gordon Center for Medical Imaging in the Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS) in Boston, Massachusetts, has an opening for highly qualified individuals at the post-doctoral level to work on research related to the synthesis of small molecule PET radio-pharmaceuticals under the mentorship of Dr. Pedro Brugarolas . The Department of Radiology at MGH is equipped with a cyclotron for the production of eleven C and eighteen F and state-of-the-art chemistry and radio-chemistry facilities. The Department also has several PET cameras to evaluate novel radiopharmaceuticals in animals and humans. Candidates must have obtained or anticipate soon receiving a Ph.D. in radiochemistry, organic chemistry, or related position. Strong synthetic and analytical abilities are essential ( e.g., NMR, MS, HPLC, etc). Prior background with eleven C- and eighteen F-labeling is advantageous.
