Senior Accountant - (North Kingstown, RI)

RESPONSIBILITIES: A Kforce client in the East Greenwich/North Kingstown, Rhode Island (RI) area is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a temp to permanent basis. Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant: Prepare & analyze daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Prepare consolidated financial statements & management reports Assist with the month end close process, reconciling and analyzing various balance sheet accounts Post month, quarter, and year-end journal entries for accruals and account reconciliations Prepare detailed schedules Prepare adjusting & eliminating entries Prepare related work papers Handle account reconciliations Additional projects, as requested QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
