Safety Manager - (Midland, TX)

Responsible for the development and implementation of company safety and DOT programs, policies, and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES Expertise to interpret applicable Federal and State regulations to ensure program/policy compliance. Attend customer safety meetings and review other customer communications involving safety. Ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry best practice. Maintain compliance with ISNetworld, PEC SSQ and Avetta safety databases. Conduct effective incident investigation, determining root cause and tracking action items to close. Conduct regular safety audits of facilities and worksites to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and identify potential opportunities for improvement. Conduct task specific hazard assessments and assist in the development of standard operating procedures for all product lines. Track leading and lagging indicator statistics and prepare monthly/quarterly reports to communicate safety trends (TRIR, BBS, Field Audits).
