Overview The School Psychologist evaluates educational needs of children within a school, and makes recommendations for strategies and services to parents and school personnel to enable children to attain max achievement These positions are for the Dayton, Ohio area. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following: Performs psychological or psycho-educational assessment including an appraisal of all or some of the following (in accordance with referral questions): cognitive, social, adaptive, achievement and emotional status. Determines student's particular strengths and weaknesses as a learner. Interprets assessment results and generates a report providing feedback to parents and school personnel. Advises teachers and other school personnel on methods to enhance school and classroom setting to provide an educational environment to maximize the student's achievement Serves as member of the multi-disciplinary team, where appropriate.
